c) Futures: If you would like to have your car as your daily transportation while selling is in progress/before a guaranteed deal, you can always list your car to obtain quotations from our active dealers nationwide.

Yes, however, you will have to top up the balance of the outstanding amount to the bank.

a) Direct Sell: It is free of charge! We will handle the entire ownership transfer process to let you enjoy a total hassle free car selling experience. 

b) Auction: There is a charge of handling fee from the range of RM100, RM300 and RM500 depends on final selling price of your car.

It takes only 30 minutes. You will receive a price quote immediately or 1 – 2 working days if the reference price is not available.

Please provide an original copy and a photocopy of the following documents:

You could also submit your interest via our website and our concierge will get in touch with you within 24 hours to assist you further for the car viewing.

No, the maximum loan allowance is 90% of the car price.

The price shown is the car price which excludes muv service fee, road tax and insurance premium.

muv service fee is inclusive of a 180 points inspection report, Puspakom inspection fee, paperwork, ownership transfer and our professional services to provide you a hassle free car buying experience at RM1,500.

Payment options are as follows: 

i. Cash to be paid over the counter at office 

ii. Bank transfer to MUV Marketplace Sdn Bhd - Maybank Account No: 514561325827

Motor vehicle insurance is purchased to ensure your motor vehicle’s value is covered fully/partially for compensation in the event of an accident/disaster.

Yes. It is mandatory under the Motor Vehicle Act to get your motor vehicle is insured as soon as you purchase it.

It is very important to purchase a comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy so that your motor vehicle would be fully/partially covered in the event of accident claims either/both by 3rd party or/and own damage as per stated in the policy. For coverage beyond your basic comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy, you can choose to purchase an extension of insurance coverage on top of your existing policy.

Yes, but this is up to insurers’ discretion  we also provide Personal Accident insurance coverage, House Owner/Holder insurance coverage and Medical insurance coverage.

Both are similar, where you would need to submit documents and fill up application forms. But with pre-qualified financing, you can apply for financing BEFORE you shop for a car! Making the process of buying a car much faster, and for you to know the vehicle price range in which you can afford.

You should receive an update regarding your application within 24-48 hours if your documents are complete.

Unfortunately no, it is not allowed via the current Hire Purchase Act. Maximum Margin Of Finance is 90 % with a 10% down payment is necessary.



muvbid - General

The owner of the vehicle has an existing loan with the bank and the buying process may take longer than usual to take longer than usual as the owner of the vehicle has to settle the loan which may take 3-10 days.

It is a comprehensive 183-point inspection conducted by muv to let you know the health of the vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle would like to retain the registration number and an interim number (Interchange Number) will be provided by JPJ.

The vehicle has been viewed and inspected by muv confirming the vehicle’s health and condition on the basis of ‘As Is Where Is’.

This means the seller has uploaded a digital copy of the vehicle’s Car Registration Card for muv’s verification.

Asking Price” is the price in which you will consider selling your vehicle at. On muvbid someone can bid for your vehicle lower or above your set “Asking Price”. You have a choice of accepting any of the bids at any time, in which upon accepting the listing will end.


BUY IT NOW” price is the price in which you will accept selling your vehicle immediately. Upon selection of this option, the Buyer is in agreement to pay this set “BUY IT NOW” price and the listing ends immediately.

You would need to create and register an account with us before you can start bidding for your vehicle(s).



muvbid - Buyer

In order to place a bid on muvbid, you must first purchase a Bid Ticket for each unit of vehicle listed on muvbid platform that you intend to bid for. Without any Bid Ticket, you will not be able to participate in the muvbid Bidding. This Bid Ticket is applicable for one (1) vehicle bidding only. Bidding will be at an incremental rate of RM100, except when it is the First Bid, which you can bid for at any price, even below the Asking Price.

This is needed for you to place your bid(s) for your vehicle(s). One (1) Bid Ticket can only be used for bidding of one (1) vehicle at any one instance only.

Each Bid Ticket costs RM600.00. You may purchase the Bid Ticket from muv via the online purchase found on muvbid website.

The seller of the vehicle will only surrender the vehicle to a muv branch only after bid acceptance. You may place a bid and view the vehicle later, if you’re not happy with the vehicle, you may cancel the deal and the Bid Ticket will be returned to your account.

The above documents must be provided to muv within two (2) days of signing of the Buyer’s Order.


If the application is rejected, RM250 will be deducted from the Bid Ticket value and be use as Loan Submission Processing Fees from your Bid Ticket. In order to avoid this, you may apply for a pre-approved loan from muvhp here. The remaining RM350 will be refunded by cheque.


If the application was approved and you choose to cancel it, RM600 will be forfeited from your Bid Ticket / Account for processing of your application.

The application documents will be furnished for your collection within two (2) working days after singing of the Buyer’s Order.

This is a contract of sale and purchase between Buyer and muv for the said relevant vehicle.

This is the very first bid to be placed for the vehicle where Buyer can bid for a price greater or lesser than that of the ‘Asking Price” listed by the Seller.

Bid Price is the cost of the vehicle only and excludes Road Tax and Insurance, which will be separately quoted during acceptance of the vehicle.

The value of your Bid Ticket will be used in your final purchase price in the vehicle ownership transfer processing fee; ownership transfer, Puspakom Inspection (B5 & B7), Hire Purchase Endorsement, will be levied into the final invoice at a bundled price of RM600

This is a price set by the Seller that once the button is clicked on, or when the bid price reaches the set amount, the bidding will cease and the said vehicle will be deemed as sold to the Buyer who clicked on the button or bidded at or over the set price.

Your outbid Bid Ticket will be returned to your account for your immediate usage to bid for another vehicle.

You will need to write-in to hello@muv-x.com to request for a refund. This will not be applicable if Buyer is “No-Show” during viewing and acceptance of vehicle(s).

Yes, the Purchase Price is for the Vehicle only. You will also need to pay for the Road Tax, Insurance and any and all processing fees incurred to transfer ownership of the Vehicle to you.



muvbid - Seller

First register an account with muvbid and start listing your car here. Please refrain from placing personal detail(s) and contact(s) details into the description, this is to ensure safe trading and secure transactions whilst using our platform.

Sellers can choose to either, send in their vehicle(s) to one of our muv Hubs for us to inspect or request for our Mobile Inspection Team to go over to perform the inspection (only available in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor (Johor Bharu, Johor Jaya, Skudai, Nusa Jaya, Permas Jaya, Pasir Gudang)), an inspection fee of RM50 per vehicle, will be charged for such service. This fee will be refunded upon a successful sale transaction of the said vehicle.  Any findings during the inspection that vary from that of the buyer’s declaration, will be amended accordingly.  This badge will only then be given to the said same inspected vehicle.

A listed vehicle with a muv Verified badge will have higher chances of being bought as this provides buyers with an assurance of the quality and condition of the vehicle has been confirmed.

By declaring all these statuses: -

a.) No major accident,b.) No “Beyond Economical Repair” Claim, c.) Non e-hailing car, d.) No outstanding summon, e.) No structural cut and join & f.) Non-Flooded Vehicle,

you will give the Buyer more confidence to choose your vehicle, place a bid for your vehicle  and ultimately purchase your vehicle.

You can only list private vehicles. Hire and Drive/Commercial vehicles can only be listed when they are decommissioned and re-classes as private vehicles at the Seller’s own cost(s).

Vehicles will be listed on muvbid for up to seven (7) days.

The Seller will need to bear the cost of  Transfer of Ownership Inspection (Borang B5) performed by Puspakom of RM140, which will be deducted from the final sales amount of the relevant vehicle. The Seller can opt to perform this inspection prior to surrendering of the vehicle and this cost will be waived.

Yes, you can do so. At any juncture of the listing period you are allowed to choose the which bid you want to accept and the listing will cease.

One must surrender their vehicle by the next day of final bid acceptance, regardless of it being a weekday or a weekend to the surrender location chosen during listing.

You must surrender your Vehicle within 24 hours of final bid acceptance. Our centers will be open throughout the week, Monday - Sunday between 9am - 5pm to accept your Vehicle.

Upon listing submission, our administrators will review the listing before publishing it live onto muvbid. Any contact details will be removed, this is to ensure safe trading and secure transactions whilst using our platform.

Payment for the transacted/sold vehicle will be within: -

i.) 3-5 working days for Cash Buyer after buyer makes payment and,

ii.) 7-21 days for Buyer using Hire Purchase (HP) financing.

  1. If you are purchasing with Cash, it will require on an average of between 7-14 working days for us to complete the purchase and transfer process.
  2. If you are purchasing with Hire Purchase Financing, it will require on an average of between 7-21 working days for us to complete the purchase, financing and transfer process.

Yes you can, as long as all outstanding hire purchase amount(s) has been settled and resolved.

*Such Vehicle will take longer to transact as the owner (non-Malaysian) would need to personally attend to Jabatan Perangkutan Jalan (JPJ) branches perform the ownership transfer process.

Yes you can, as long as the vehicle has been decommissioned as a ‘Hire and Drive’ and recommissioned as a ‘Private’ vehicle.

Yes you can and you must reduce the Asking Price and Buy It Now Price by at least 5%. You may also reduce your price by more than 5%.

The value of your Bid Ticket will be used in your final purchase price in the vehicle ownership transfer processing fee; ownership transfer, PUSPAKOM Inspection (B5 & B7), Hire Purchase Endorsement, will be levied into the final invoice at a bundled price of RM600.

Your Bid Ticket of RM600 will be used in processing fees for the purchase and transfer of your new vehicle.
